Mittens

MittensDear Catgoods,
Just wanted to say thank you for making our birdlife cat-safe! Mittens was catching birds every time we let her venture outside. We had tried up to 12 bells on her collar to warn the birds but she still managed to catch them. Turning to the internet I found your website and the CatBib. I ordered one immediately and it arrived 3 weeks ago. Since then, Mittens has not caught one bird - a great result! We are already recommending it to all our cat-friends. Many thanks, Clive

June

JuneI am seventy years old and not agile enough to help the birds that my cat would drag in, still alive. "CatBib" has been a miracle to me. It really works. Thank you.

Nicholas

NicholasNicholas became interested in birds after a bird hit the patio door and he caught it. After the second bird I started searching the internet for answers and found CatBib. I purchased a CatBib on 8-30-04.He has not caught a bird since and doesn't seem to be bothered by it. It comes off at night and it's easy to get it on him in the morning because it's the signal for getting to go outside.

Polly

PollyJust before Christmas (Summer here and the height of bird activity) I had an awful shock when I looked under the spare bed and saw Princess Wally Polly eating a bird, surrounded by the wings of prior kills. I was home all day over the next few days and discovered she had a 3-4 a day habit. Imagine Wally's delight when Santa bought her a lovely CatBib for Christmas. It's been trimmed down to suit her tiny frame and has put an end to wings under the bed. It has been 4 weeks since the carnage ended but we're so relieved it feels a much longer time.

Timon

TimonHere is a photo of Timon wearing his Cat Bib. He seems quite happy wearing it and as you say it doesn't stop him doing all the things he usually does except catch things. I didn't really mind the mice but when he killed a robin that was too much. Since he has been wearing his bib he hasn't caught anything, even mice. The one night he went out without it there was a mouse on the mat in the morning. I like feeding the birds in winter but felt I was just luring them to a gruesome death as Timon is such a keen hunter so thanks to Cat Bib maybe more will survive.

Farouk

FaroukFarouk is a feral cat we brought home from Greece about six years ago....hunting is definitely his favorite pastime. He has been wearing his CatBib bib for about a week and so far he has not brought back any birds and seems totally comfortable wearing it. He waits for me to put it on him before he goes out and pauses to have it removed when he comes back in. He totally accepted it from day one, I was amazed because I was sure he would fight it. I think he likes the attention he gets from passing cars and pedestrians. Finally, I can stop feeling guilty about feeding the birds and having Farouk think of them as his personal buffet. I have recommended your "Bird Bib" to all my cat loving friends and was so pleased to see that you ship to England. Can't thank you enough.I wish you continued success with a very clever and much needed product.
